Alzheimer’s Disease Definition
Alzheimer’s is a disease related to loss of memory. People have a problem to recall and remember the past events. People with this disease may have forgotten their close relations too. They also forgot how to dress up, eat and take bath to their selves. The main damage that this disease has come along with is forgetting the whole things and information about themselves. Alzheimer’s disease breaks down the brain tissue so the things been forgotten by its affected person. Its happening age is almost at the age of 65. It is estimated that a person who has this disease may live up to 9 years. Some may live less than this some may live the whole estimated value. Its prevalence in men is less than women. Females have its higher ratio. It is based on the research that 1 in 8 people have the Alzheimer’s disease.
The chances of Alzheimer’s disease are usually found in older people but it does not mean that it is only bound to that age or category. It is still not sure hat why some people got it and some not. But the fact remains the same that it is happened due to the two main nerve damage. Studies did not support a proper statement for its cause but there are some presumed assumptions for its cause:
Genes are the most important link between the parent and the offspring to transmit the characteristics or other related things. Genes played a very vital role in the shifting of this disease. A study reveals that there is a link between the chromosome 1, 14,19 and 21 in the cause of Alzheimer’s. The most crucial gene among them is chromosome 19. Which may be the intriguing chromosome of this disease. The abnormality in this chromosome may probably cause Alzheimer’s Disease. The parental factors also play a role in its prevalence. If parents have this disease, then the offspring might have this disease.
It is shown by some studies, that the person who is having the high blood pressure and high cholesterol may have this disease. All in all head injury may also contribute to Alzheimer’s. Its occurrence may depend upon the severity of the injury.
A protein found in blood named as Apolipoprotein E may be damaged that is used by the body to move cholesterol in the blood. So, it may also cause the plaque to the brain it is said by the scientists.
The sign and symptoms vary in their nature. As every person have a different body and different body patterns. So its severity and time phase vary. Some of the prominent symptoms are as follows:

No specific cure has been coined for the Alzheimer’s treatment. When the symptoms started to expose like memory loss, learning impairment, justice issues, lack of communication. These things not gonna end but can be maintained by medication.

These medications also come along with a few side effects like insomnia, loss of appetite, weight loss, diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, and fatigue. FDA approved a medicine for all types of Alzheimer’s stages is Aricept. Razadyne and Exelon are to treat the mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease. All these have the side effects like constipation, dizziness, confusion, headache, and tiredness. Medicinals also suggest some other related medicines to cure the related disorder. The along with disorders are aggression, agitation, sleeplessness, and depression.
